The H-2B visa is for employers in non-agricultural industries, such as landscaping, hospitality, construction, and seafood processing, who require temporary labor during peak seasons or for short-term projects. Like the H-2A program, employers must demonstrate a lack of available American workers. The H-2B program also includes wage and working condition standards to protect the rights of workers.
